Fully Virtual Intercom
The InterQR System is a fully functional virtual intercom. When guests arrive, they can scan the QR code at your building’s entrance to contact you. You can see them, talk to them, and unlock the door — all from your phone. You can also send guests a secure access link in advance. This link can be configured in two ways: - Single-use – valid for one entry only, ideal for deliveries. - Full-day access – valid throughout the day, perfect for guests who may come and go. This gives you flexibility and control over who can enter, and when. If you don’t have the app installed, the system will instead call your phone number directly. In that case, you'll get an audio-only call, but you can still speak with your guest and open the door remotely.

Connecting the Keypad to the Cloud
The keypad can be connected to the cloud. Doing so allows building managment to activate and deactivate key fobs remotely. In such a system each key fob is to be assigned to a resident enabling a full entry log based on residents—provided the keypad code has not been shared.
In cases where residents need access to the keypad code (preferably for a limited period), it can be remotely set or deactivated. This solution is particularly effective for entrances where the client does not want users to have remote unlocking capabilities.

Advanced Resident Management
The default operation mode of intercoms grants residents access to unlock and use the intercom for all doors at any time. In advanced mode, access can be restricted to certain doors / residents and time.
For example, if a building has a main entrance and a separate entrance to a swimming pool, residents can be given unrestricted access to the main door but only allowed entry to the pool during specific hours. Some residents may even be completely restricted from entering the pool area.
For certain clients (mainly offices or schools), only a small number of users need to receive intercom access requests. The individuals managing the intercom and the hours during which it is active can be configured remotely.

Guest Management
InterQR allows registration and management of guests for any entrance or multiple entrances. You can set and modify the hours, days, or date ranges during which a guest is permitted entry.
For example, if a service provider needs access on a specific day, their access can be scheduled accordingly. If children attend a class, entry can be granted on Mondays and Wednesdays from 13:00 to 16:00 for the entire year.
A major advantage of the guest management system over sharing access links via the app is that recurring guests can have their access times adjusted as needed, and existing access permissions can be revoked. This feature is particularly useful for clients with public-facing facilities, such as offices or for management companies scheduling maintenance work as well as large car parks where guest access is occasionally required.

Permanent Door Unlocking
For locks capable of receiving a continuous power supply (e.g., magnetic locks, sliding doors, or certain latch locks), the door can be permanently unlocked remotely. This can be scheduled or activated on demand.
Common use cases include keeping the door open for several hours while a resident moves house, or when there is a large event and many guests are expected.

Smart Alarm
The intercom system can also function as a smart alarm, triggered by door openings. The delay interval before activation can be set remotely, specifying how long the door must remain open before the alarm sounds.
The alarm can be linked to a smart timer, allowing scheduling of active periods. It can be configured as a loud alarm (e.g., a phone call) or a silent one (logging the event in the system for later review).
There is no limit to the number of alarms that can be set for a specific door. For example, during certain hours, the alarm can trigger if the door remains open for several minutes, while at other times, it may activate immediately upon door opening and even notify a different recipient.

Dual Entry
In buildings requiring access through multiple locked doors in succession—such as an external gate followed by a main building entrance—there is no need to activate the intercom system multiple times.
Once a resident grants access at the outer door, the guest’s attempt to use the intercom at the inner door will automatically unlock it, provided the same phone is used and the two entry attempts occur within a short time frame. In addition sending an access link to guest will now include two or more buttons for the guest to press to open. One for each door.
